Overview

ADS-B INTEGRITY is a PC test application from VIAVI for performance testing of ADS-B Out equipment, covering ADS-B transponders, UAT transceivers and GPS receivers.

For installed systems, the application controls the IFR6000 or IFR6015 Transponder Test Set together with the GPSG-1000 Positional Simulator to simulate a flight path. This allows a complete dynamic AC 20-165B performance verification and identifies compliance failures before the aircraft is flown. Testing is coupled and can be performed in the hangar or on the flight line, which removes the need for open sky, a GPS repeater, suitable weather and coordination with ATC operations.

The application generates a detailed ADS-B Out compliance report showing pass/fail criteria together with analysis of system latency. Available plots include instantaneous and average system latency, velocity at average latency, and instantaneous positional error based on a linear track.

For development and factory test, the application controls the IFF-45TS/A and the GPSG-1000 for a complete dynamic performance verification. The ADS-B INTEGRITY app is supplied with the 6000OPT6 option for the IFR 6000 and IFR 6015 and with the GPSGOPT3 option for the GPSG-1000.
