ME7803NR RF Regulatory Test System for 5G NR TRCC/RED/CFR FR1 Tests
5G NR RF test system for TRCC/RED/CFR FR1 regulatory tests of mobile terminals according to national and regional radio regulations.

Overview
The Anritsu RF Regulatory Test System ME7803NR runs 5G NR RF regulatory tests based on national and regional radio regulations. It supports the TRCC, RED and CFR FR1 tests of 5G NR terminals defined by ARIB, ETSI and FCC. Anritsu states that future changes and updates to these tests will also be supported. Settings and scenarios are provided for each test type, so the system can check whether the UE under test meets the legal requirements.
System configuration
The system is built from the Radio Communication Test Station MT8000A, which simulates a 5G NR base station, and the Radio Communication Analyzer MT8821C, which acts as the LTE Anchor. Other measuring instruments and dedicated software complete the setup. Together they run conducted (wired) 5G RF regulatory tests over 5G NR Non-Standalone (NSA) call connections. The system does not support 4G RF (LTE) tests. 5G NR Standalone (SA) tests are planned for a future upgrade. The ME7803NR can be combined with Anritsu equipment the customer already owns, such as the MT8000A, MT8821C, MS2840A/MS2850A, MG3710E and MG3694C, so only the missing hardware needs to be added.
Frequency bands
The system supports the certified 5G NR bands, and the LTE bands used in 5G NSA mode, that are deployed or about to be deployed in North America, Europe and Asia. Bands that are not yet supported will be added according to market requirements.
Correction, calibration and software
Anritsu recommends calibration at the start of testing for stable, reliable results. Navigation screens guide the operator through correction, calibration and connection switching. In the test software, a test sequence is built by choosing test cases and editing common and per-test-case parameters. The software shows test progress, keeps logs of the messages exchanged with the UE for troubleshooting, and saves results as PDF reports or CSV files.
