Overview

The VIAVI UPG-ONX-620TSX-720 is a OneExpert HFC mainframe upgrade package that moves an existing ONX-620 TSX configuration to the ONX-720 platform. It is the No Optics configuration of the upgrade range. It includes OneCheck Ethernet, OneCheck WiFi, 10G SpeedCheck and the ONX 720 TSX software package, along with a protective fitted case and Cat6A M-F and M-M jumpers.

The OneExpert HFC (ONX-720/730) validates DOCSIS, Ethernet, PON and WiFi 7 throughput up to 10 Gbps in under a minute. One-button testing with VIAVI Test Process Automation (TPA) guides technicians through standard workflows for residential and small business service activation and troubleshooting.

DOCSIS and RF

The ONX-720/730 carries forward the RF and DOCSIS testing features of the ONX-620/630, including support for existing RF modules. The mainframe upgrade is compatible with the ONX DOCSIS/RF modules of the OneExpert CATV range.

Design

The unit is IP54 rated, weatherproof, drop-tested and modular. Its modular path supports 25G/50G PON and DOCSIS 4.0, and it has integrated GPS, StrataSync and mobile app support, plus a high-capacity battery for multi-day use. An AC charger is not included as standard in upgrade packages; the OneExpert HFC uses the same charger as the OneExpert CATV.
