Overview

VIAVI supports many rotary and fixed-wing aircraft platforms with a library of aircraft-specific interface cables and units. Combined with a VIAVI Fuel Quantity Test Set, the interfaces provide functional testing and troubleshooting of the aircraft fuel quantity indicating system (FQIS).

Each interface connects between the test set and the aircraft at a defined access point, such as the wing spar, the wheel well, the tank wall, the indicator or the FQIS unit front connectors. Through these interfaces, the test set can measure probes, compensators and total tank capacitance, test level sensors, and simulate values to indicators.

For aircraft not covered by the existing library, VIAVI also offers design services for the development of new interfaces and aircraft test procedures. The products are available through GSA suppliers.
