Overview
The VIAVI Radio Analysis Module (SPAxxMA) is a family of modules that pair with the OneAdvisor 800 Wireless Platform to form a portable field test set. The family comprises the SPA06MA and SPA06MA-O models, both covering 9 kHz to 6 GHz.
Test capabilities include spectrum analysis, real-time persistent spectrum analysis with up to 100 MHz of instantaneous bandwidth, interference analysis, 4G LTE and 5G NR signal analysis including blind scanning, signal coverage and synchronization assessment, and PIM and interference detection on CPRI-based radios using RFoCPRI.
The modules also support Ethernet verification at 1G, 10G, 25G and 100G, IEEE 1588 fronthaul synchronization testing, and Open RAN radio unit (O-RU) validation through O-DU emulation. Fiber characterization with OTDR (CWDM, DWDM) and multi-channel verification is supported on the platform.
Test process automation is supported through automated testing, remote control and cloud services, including asset and data management.
