Overview
StrataSync is a hosted, cloud-based solution from VIAVI that provides asset, configuration and test data management for VIAVI instruments. It ensures that instruments in the field have the latest software and options installed.
The platform is part of the instrument and field workforce ecosystem, supporting uniform methods and procedures and consistent testing across technicians. The data it collects is intended to provide insights for operational efficiency, such as improving first-time fix rates and reducing repeat service calls.
StrataSync manages both direct and contractor workforces from a single platform. Instruments can upload test results directly to centralized storage, replacing result handover via FTP, email or USB stick. The browser-based interface tracks and upgrades instruments, and displays, prints, stores and exports test results, with dashboards and basic reports for analysing network trends.
The StrataSync Core level has no annual subscription. Test capabilities can be deployed temporarily to the instruments where they are needed, and asset management also covers non-VIAVI instruments.
