VIAVI GC-130 GPS Antenna Coupler Kit for GPSG-1000 GPS Simulator

The VIAVI GC-130 GPS Antenna Coupler gives more than 20 dB of antenna isolation. This keeps outside GPS signals away from the aircraft's GPS receiver while a user-defined GPS signal is simulated. The coupler mounts directly over the aircraft's GPS antenna.

The GC-130 is made to work with the VIAVI GPSG-1000 GPS Simulator. It is used when the antenna coupler supplied with the simulator is too small for the GPS antenna on the system under test. It allows GPS simulation in hangars and other places where GPS coverage is poor, or where a simulated static or dynamic GPS signal is needed.

With the GPSG-1000, the coupler supports almanac and time-of-day updates when no outside GPS signal is available. It also supports GPS sensitivity testing, dynamic simulation of aircraft movement for testing other aircraft systems, and checking the latency of the GPS and transponder systems.
