Overview

The Spectrum Master MS2762A-0044 is a member of the Anritsu MS276xA family of ultraportable spectrum analyzers. It covers 6 GHz to 44 GHz and uses a K (2.92 mm) male test port connector, compatible with SMA and 3.5 mm connectors.

The MS2762A models provide increased dynamic range and lower displayed average noise level than the MS2760A models and are intended for applications with demanding sensitivity requirements. The family uses Anritsu's patented nonlinear transmission line (NLTL) technology, also used in Anritsu vector network analyzers.

The pocket-sized instrument can connect directly to the device under test, avoiding the loss introduced by long test port cables at millimeter-wave frequencies. For over-the-air measurements a waveguide horn antenna can be attached directly to the test port.

The analyzer is USB-powered and controlled from a Windows-based PC, laptop, or tablet, so it can be used in the lab, on the manufacturing floor, or in the field. Built-in measurements include channel power, adjacent channel power and occupied bandwidth, with spectrum and spectrogram displays.
