Overview

The Spectrum Master MS2760A-0090 is the 90 GHz model of the Anritsu MS2760A ultraportable spectrum analyzer family. It covers 9 kHz to 90 GHz and uses a W1 (1.0 mm) male test port connector.

The MS2760A is based on Anritsu's patented nonlinear transmission line (NLTL) technology, which is also used in Anritsu vector network analyzers. Its pocket-sized form factor allows the analyzer to connect directly to the device under test, without the long test port cables that add loss and error at millimeter-wave frequencies. For over-the-air measurements, a waveguide horn antenna can be attached directly to the test port.

The instrument is USB-powered and is controlled from a Windows-based PC, laptop or tablet, so it can be used in the lab, on the production floor or in the field.

Measurement functions include channel power, adjacent channel power and occupied bandwidth, with spectrum and spectrogram displays, up to six traces, three trace detectors and 12 markers. An external 10 MHz frequency reference input and an external TTL trigger input are provided.
