Overview
The Anritsu Spectrum Master MS2760A-0044 is the 44 GHz member of the MS2760A family of ultraportable spectrum analyzers. It covers 9 kHz to 44 GHz (usable to 0 Hz) and uses a K (2.92 mm) male test port connector, compatible with SMA and 3.5 mm connectors.
The MS2760A family is based on Anritsu's patented nonlinear transmission line (NLTL) technology, the same technology used in Anritsu vector network analyzers. The pocket-sized instrument can connect directly to the device under test, which avoids the loss introduced by long test port cables at microwave and millimeter-wave frequencies.
The analyzer is USB-powered over a USB 3.0 Type C connection and is controlled from a Windows-based PC, laptop or tablet, so it can be used in the lab, on the production floor or in the field. Measurements include channel power, adjacent channel power and occupied bandwidth, with spectrum and spectrogram displays, up to six traces, three trace detectors and 12 markers.
An external 10 MHz frequency reference input and an external TTL trigger input are provided. Per the manufacturer, specifications for the MS276xA-0044 between 40 GHz and 44 GHz are typical.
