Overview
The VIAVI D2 1.6T 4-port Appliance is a TestCenter platform with OSFP ports for 1.6T Ethernet testing. With the optional TestCenter Ultra Ethernet Transport (UET) software license, it supports UET testing at 100G, 200G, 400G, 800G and 1.6T, covering both the Transport Layer and the Link Layer.
UET testing on the D2 includes validation against the UEC 1.0 specification, with more than 50 built-in Packet Delivery Sub-layer test cases. It also covers AI workload emulation using CCL and LLM traffic patterns, and load balancing validation. The D2 can scale to assess terabit router capabilities in hyperscale environments.
