Overview

The VIAVI A3 400G 4-port Appliance is a 2U rack-mountable QSFP-DD test platform built for high control-plane and data-plane scale. It supports 400/200/100/50G PAM4 and 200/100/50/40/25/10G NRZ speed modes. The datasheet notes that AN/LT, 50G PAM4 and NRZ speeds will become available in upcoming software releases.

Speeds are licensed, so a system can be configured to match the test requirement. A high-density 100G mode provides 4xQSFP28 from each QSFP-DD port. The appliance works with the TestCenter+ web-based UI, the Windows UI and the automation APIs, and it supports the TestCenter MCP Server, which is part of the VIAVI NITRO AI portfolio.
