Overview

The VIAVI dX3 400G Appliance (DX3-QSFP-DD-8) is a 1U rack-mountable TestCenter platform with eight 400G QSFP-DD ports. Each port can be configured for 400/200/100/50G with PAM4 encoding or 100/50/40/25/10G with NRZ encoding. Auto Negotiation and Link Training are supported at all speeds, including 8x50G mode.

The appliance supports VIAVI Smart Port Technology, a licensed feature that adds single ports and speeds as needed. A high-density 100G option breaks out each QSFP-DD port into 4xQSFP28, for up to 32x100G ports from one 1U unit. MACsec is supported at all port speeds.
