Overview
The VIAVI Wander Analysis Software is an external PC application for evaluating network synchronization. It imports time interval error (TIE) data from a number of sources, including wander measurements recorded on ONT, T-BERD/MTS and ANT instruments, which can be downloaded and displayed directly.
Along with TIE, MTIE and TDEV evaluation, the software offers the RTIE, MRTIE, MADEV, ADEV, FFO and FFD analysis functions. Results are compared with telecom standard masks for pass/fail evaluation, so it can be used for testing to ITU-T, ETSI, ANSI and Telcordia requirements.
Results appear in graphical and tabular views, with auto and manual zoom, multiple markers and a separate marker set for each analysis type. Graphics and tables can be copied into other PC applications or printed, and TIE data can also be imported from CSV files.
