Overview
The VIAVI STL-2600 is a receiver module that generates UTC nanosecond timing and meters-accurate stationary positioning without depending on GNSS. It works anywhere in the world and operates much like a GPS receiver, but without using GPS.
The module puts a custom-designed Iridium Low Earth Orbit (LEO) receiver and a disciplined, high-stability reference oscillator sub-system on a single circuit board. It provides NMEA, 10 MHz and 1 PPS outputs and is designed to resist jamming and spoofing.
The STL-2600 is designed to work with the VIAVI Iridium-based SecureTime LEO Services as part of a resilient positioning, navigation and timing (PNT) solution. STL lock requires an active subscription to these services. VIAVI provides the GPSCon Controller and JLTerm software for control and monitoring.
