Overview
The VIAVI SecureTime altGNSS GEO-L Helical Antenna is an active helical antenna for alternative GNSS (altGNSS) timing and positioning services delivered in the 1518 to 1559 MHz band. It combines a right-hand circularly polarized antenna element with an integrated low noise amplifier.
The antenna is powered over the coaxial feed at 3 to 15 Vdc and connects through a TNC female connector with 50 Ohm impedance. Its white polymer exterior casing is rated IP67 for outdoor installation across an operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C.
The antenna is used with the VIAVI SecurePNT EdgeGM 7000L, the SecurePNT 6200L and the µPNT GEOL-2600 standalone module, and is ordered together with the SecureTime altGNSS GEO-L service option.
