Overview
The VIAVI SmartClass TPS is an all-in-one test tool for installing broadband services. A single instrument covers the physical layers in common use, including copper pairs, ADSL 1/2/2+, WiFi, coax, HPNA and fiber.
Above the physical layer, the SmartClass TPS tests the services carried over the connection: IP data, VoIP and IP video. Technicians can check both the line and the services delivered to the subscriber with one unit.
VIAVI provides SmartClass TPS software for download, along with a USB upgrade procedure for installing firmware releases.
