HHCL Handheld Code Loader Firmware Update Utility for Older Anritsu Handhelds

The Anritsu HHCL Handheld Code Loader is a utility for updating the firmware of certain older Anritsu handheld instruments. Many of these handhelds remain in use and require the Handheld Code Loader to install new firmware versions.

There are three methods for updating handheld firmware depending on the instrument model. Some models are firmware-version dependent, so the installed firmware version should be checked before attempting an update. The current version is shown on the splash screen at power-up, or by pressing Shift + System Key [8] on the keyboard and selecting Status from the sub-menu keys, where the Package Version is displayed.
