Overview

The Anritsu MA2474D is a standard diode power sensor in the MA247xD series. It covers 10 MHz to 40 GHz and works with the Anritsu ML2430, ML2480 and ML2490 series power meters. The sensor makes high dynamic range, high accuracy CW and TDMA power measurements.

The sensor has a 90 dB dynamic range, from -70 dBm to +20 dBm. Its rise time of 4 µs is fast enough to measure power on GSM and similar TDMA systems that use GMSK modulation.

Calibration factors are stored in the sensor's EEPROM. The RF connector is a precision K(m) connector with a hexagon coupling nut, so it can be tightened with an industry-standard torque wrench.
